IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING CLEARANCES:

Clearances or temporary clearances (loans) must be approved or where necessary signed off by the President or in addition with consultation of the Club's Director of Coaching.

Clearances are all completed online during registration in PlayHQ - please use the same email and login account (do not create a new one without notifying PlayHQ) & also contact the club by email or message us and provide your name, date of birth and reason for clearance.

You MUST contact the club by phone or email to advise us that your clearance is ready for processing as you are ultimately responsible for your clearance form.

No player is permitted to play for another club without permission and that generally equates to at least a temporary clearance in most cases. All Kings players selected to play are expected to play for our club at junior tournaments sanctioned by the committee and where a Kings team in that age group or division is participating.

No player is generally permitted to play in a tournament for another club without first seeking and being granted permission from the SG Kings committee/club/DOC or our official representative.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING WALKOVERS/FORFEITS:

Should your team receive a walkover fine or similar fee due to unforeseen circumstances such as player illness, injury and alike causing your team to force a walkover or forfeit, your team manager is required to notify the basketball centre via telephone and the SG Kings club President via email or text immediately.

Where circumstances exist that the walkover is on game night, again the SG Kings club President must be notified by email, phone call or text (within 24 hours of the walkover if possible) and details of the circumstances explained.

Where possible the club will assist a team in paying a walkover fine, however where unpaid club fees or other basketball related fees exist, the club is not responsible for such fines as walkovers or forfeits.

The SG Kings committee will assess the club's responsibility to pay walkover fines upon each individual incident. All teams should be aware that multiple fines especially without notice may not be supported by the club.
